As a free thinker (free spirit) one should realize that all are free thinkers in their own right, and it is not our job to differentiate others as free thinkers or not. Our job is to communicate with all, with the hope of a beautiful connection.
When our minds open, and we stop hiding, it can sometimes feel like a scary place to be; change is frightening for many... But, as we continue our path thru the truth, we begin to see the light of that truth in all the mind(s) of the world.
It is only the meek at heart, who chose to shy away from the light of truth in all, that do not perceive it. Yet, to a free thinker, the meek are just as much a part of that truth as they themselves.
Peace and Love!

When I was a teenager, and had many controversial and non-conformist opinions, I felt very isolated indeed! But I think the thing that made me feel SO alone was the feeling that no-one cared as much as I did. I think this feeling stemmed from my own feeling of self-righteousness. After a rather "endarkening" brush with harsh personal reality, the struggle to climb back out of that dark pit taught me empathy and (dare I say it) humility (ie my own need for help from the Saviour).
I began to see more of the similarities in people, understand their feelings and underlying motivations, and accept weaknesses as part of human nature, to be gradually overcome. I see that deep down, there are many more people just like me than what I ever realised. While I still hold many opinions and beliefs different from the norm, they don't make me feel isolated...
I guess suffering is the common lot of man, and empathy connects all of our hearts together.
As for enjoying everyone... well, I wouldn't push a love for variety and interest that far. Some people are just too prickly to truly enjoy.... but most people have some good in them that can be emphasised and nurtured.

If you are really a free spirit or a free thinker, why would you want to be isolated from the rest of the world. I would think you would want to enjoy the thinking and spirit of as many people as you could, to either change or enhance your thinking.

Am I a free thinker? I guess so, since nobody thinks like me.
I enjoy everyone. Sure sometimes I am amused by the twists and turns they put themselves through, just as they are amused by me I suppose.
And yes, there are those whose interests are poles apart from mine (those materialists that think that possessions are what count) but I remember that I too went through that phase.
We all wear masks to a certain extent. The fun is to see through them and make contact with the person behind.

None who is born could be isolated from the rest of the world. Thought and Freedom are the links which you connect with the world. When I think, enjoying my freeness I find myself closer to the world. The mode of enjoyment differs with person to person. So.... never ...never did I decline enjoying every one. But there are moments you are taken away from everyone. It doesn't mean that you are isolated.

My most precious and cherished awakening is that i AM free; not only in the physical world, but also within my spirit and my mind.Part of that freedom is the acceptance of others, no matter how heinous or inhuman their behaviors may be, free will provides the opportunity to change. This holds true with the exception of constitutionally incapable people who need meds to balance the erratic and wildly fluctuating functioning of a human brain. For these poor souls i feel much more compassion and usually turn their care over to That which presides over all creation in love, truth and compassion, call It, HE, She what you will.

I am not a free thinker, or a free spirit. I do what God tells me to through His instructions in the KJV Bible.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
2 Thessalonians 3:14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
I enjoy the company of Christians. Praise the Lord!

I too cannot communicate with others. I agree it is like you are on a different level, I have no common interest with average people you meet daily. It is hard to find someone that you can have an interesting conversation or discussion with. I do not enjoy chit chatting about school, kids, and gossip that I find most women I know discussing.

The term loose certainty seeker frequently applies to the undeniable fact that the guy is in a position thinking exterior the obstacles of non secular dogma. i don't inevitably consider the term the two yet in this context that is appropriate.

I think being a christian isolates you from the world because everyone who is not is evil to them.
