My boss is flying to america for a short stay then flying across the US/Canadian Border, then from Canada back to UK.
What documents (if any) will he need to cross the US/Canadian Border?

A few suggestions have been Birth certificate/passport. Anything else?

He will definitely need a passport. In the past crossing from US to Canada or Mexico it was not necessary to have a passport, but as of this year a passport is necessary. A photo ID would be a good idea also. Not sure since he is from UK, but in US it is required at the airports.

He just needs his passport and not his birth certificate.He will have to fill out a form on the plane stating his name and citizenship.If he is going to be staying in Canada and leaving the airport then he will have to get a visa waiver

A UK passport is enough for any visit up to 3 months. However longer visits over 'normal' vacation times will attract scrutiny, especially about supporting yourself.

Just his passport will be fine, he may be asked to fill in a form on the plane though.
It doesn't matter whether he has a criminal record or not if he's flying to the USA, as all visitors are treated with indifferent contempt and unwarranted suspicion anyway

Doordarshan News channel is the best. No hype, no sensationalizing, no chasing for news. It is quite plain and actual news. Media should be reformed and stringent laws should be enacted to contain unwanted sensationalizing and hyping the issues which leaves negative impact on our society. BBC model should be adopted to broadcast news.
