find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Shingles should not effect your diet. However, your excercise routine may have to change a little bit (e.i. the spots where you have shingles you don't want to be stressing) so just try switching up your workout a little bit and you should be fine. Congrats on losing 16 pounds-sounds like you're right on track!

Eat plenty of Vitamin E foods (seeds, wheatgerm), and plenty of fresh fruit and veggies for antioxidants and riboflavin's. Probably the stress of dieting and your impending exams has pushed your immune system too far, shingles is very often a physical reaction to a psychological overload or physical exhaustion. Keep plenty of your favourite f & v on hand to munch on and chew sugarfree gum between meals.

Just eat more healthy foods & more often. Make sure you get enough veggies ( to help you get better) & eat several small meals a day, so you stay full longer. (don't sit on your couch with a bag of potato chips....instead, have some carrots & fat free ranch dressing). Stay away from anything sugery (candy, soda, etc) If you feel up to it, go for a walk....just make sure you do not over exert yourself.
