file does not have a program to open this email---how do i create a folder please-Fred?

To create a folder in Windows, you right click in the directory where you want the folder and select "New Folder".

But I suspect that you want to create this folder within your e-mail. That is going to vary by what email program you are using (Outlook, Outlook Express, Yahoo, Hot Mail, MSN, etc.) Please edit with a little more detail about what you are trying to do, and what e-mail program you use.
