BMI says you heavy.
Enter Body Mass Calculator on the search command and then enter your numbers. Experiment with different weights to determine the line between obese and overweight.
The way that works for me is the following:
1. Commit to a permanent, new diet. Don't go on a diet in the belief it is temporary.
2. Eliminate refined flour and sugars. Focus on meat, eggs, and vegetables. Eat good fats. Avoid trans fats and saturated fats. Read the labels and look up foods you like on the web to see if they are the right foods for you.
3. Exercise everyday, but don't do the same exercises two days in a row.
4. Don't expect dramatic weight losses. However, you should see substantial progress week-to-week.

I would consult a doctor about how much weight you need to lose. I know that is is safe to lose 2 pounds per week which would be 8 pounds a month. The weight will not just fall off, you have to work at it. If you have enough ambition, I'm sure you can do it. Good luck!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Your BMI (body mass index) is 31.4
This means that you are obese.
You can check this for yourself on
http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bmi-m.htm
Your ideal BMI should be 24.9
There is no quick fix way to loose weight crash diets send the body into survival mode and it will start conserving fat molecules so you may gain weight.
Increase your amount of exercise and eat smaller more frequent meals containing high fibre and carbohydrates as they release energy slowly and will make you feel full for longer.
Eat slower as larger people often eat quickly and their stomachs often can't tell when they are full so they keep eating.

You need to lose about 20kg - you are unhealthily overweight. It's safe to lose about 1kg a week
