We can't be sure. It was translated from it's original language. My question was always, what if something was misinterpreted? That would change the entire meaning. Also, the apocrypha, the "missing" or elimanated books of the bible is a bigger question for me. I was raised in a Southern Baptist church, daughter of a minister. Today I am a Muslim. The Holy Qu'ran has never been changed in all the years since it was originally handed down to Prophet Mohamed (saw) by Gibriel ( the angel Gabriel) from Allah. I checked and researched other religions and philosophies, but realized none were true except Islam. The only true path.
In my opinion, the bible is basically a history book, the new testament at least. Not sure about the old to be honest. It is allegedly the same as the Torah, but after translation and removing the apocrypha, who knows for sure? Ask the vatican. I'm sure they have all the answers you would ever need. They authorized the removal of some of the books. If you find out why, please come back and let us here know.

It is true that the Bible was written by men, but it was inspired by God. The Bible contains historical truths, scientific truths, and moral truths. Some of these truths could not have been known by men when the Bible was being written, so it is credible to say that these truths were revealed to men by God. In the end, however, I believe that the Bible is the word of God on authority -- that is, I believe that the Bible is the word of God because it says it is the word of God.

It was written by men, but it is divinely inspired.
God chooses to work through the acts of mankind, for His own reasons. People eventually wrote down the scripts that later became the Bible (for many centuries the Old Testament was actually an oral tradition. The New Testament followed the same pattern, but most of it was written down early on after the death of Christ.) but even though it was written by men, God inspired these men to write what they wrote. These men were guided by the Holy Spirit, just as anyone who today reads it should read it with understanding given through that same Spirit.

“Men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit.” (2Â Peter 1:21) To illustrate: A businessman might have a secretary write a letter. That letter contains the businessman’s thoughts and instructions. Hence, it is really his letter, not the secretary’s. In a similar way, the Bible contains God’s message, not that of the men who wrote it down. Thus, the entire Bible truthfully is “the word of God.”—1Â Thessalonians 2:13.
Daniel 12:8-10........Now as for me, I heard, but I could not understand; so that I said: “O my lord, what will be the final part of these things?”
And he went on to say: “Go, Daniel, because the words are made secret and sealed up until the time of [the] end. Many will cleanse themselves and whiten themselves and will be refined. And the wicked ones will certainly act wickedly, and no wicked ones at all will understand; but the ones having insight will understand.
This shows Daniel didn't know what he was writing.

for one, READ THE BOOK before you judge it. Yes, written by men. Judges, kings, fishermen, doctors, over a period of thousands of years, and they all AGREE on the same thing, that some supreme being CHANGED THEIR LIFE.Men isnpsired by the Holy Spirit. as far as anything written AFTER the Bible, they are CURSED by God, because they have tried to add to it. The Bible needs no additions to it. The Spawn of Satan has always tried to destroy it, and are dragging millions into hell.

So.....allegedly God wrote the Bible (dictated it, copied it, etc) and He told Matthew to write that Mary (mother of Jesus) was pregnent in 4BC (approx), and He told Luke that Mary (mother of Jesus) was still pregnant with Jesus in 6AD....
Hallelujah! One of the LEAST quoted "miracles" of the Bible...a ten year pregnancy !
Ummm! Either God was having a joke, or God was not really certain WHEN his "Son" was born, or God was simply NOT God
Naaah! I'll go for the whole thing being a piece of crap.

2 Timothy 3:16,17-All Scipture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for diciplining in righteousness, tha the man of God be fully competent, copletely equipped for every good work.
even though men wrote the Bible we can sure that it is the word of God as what 2Peter has said in
2Peter 1:20,21"No prophecy of Scripture springs in any private interpretation. For prophecy was at no time brought by mans will, but men spoke by God as they were borne along by holy spirit"

Think of this: You have a secretary who you tell to write some invitations for some customers. Who is the invitation from ? You secretary ? No, its from You. That is what is happening with the bible.
