I have a DVD player that has RCA inputs. I use it on the move, to watch TV or listen to music, but when I am home I would prefer to watch TV on it.

Does anyone know of a device that I can input my RF cable and get RCA/SVideo output? I am looking for a cheaper unit.

Please do not recommend a Portable DVD Player with a TV tuner. Most TV tuner are just NTSC and I need a one with PAL.

Buy the cheapest PAL VCR you can find.
Check also if you can find any stand-alone tuners made for PCs, but I am sure they are not cheaper than a VCR.

Hal - Anything with a TV tuner will work fine including a VCR. Just send the channel 3 or 4 signal from the satt box via coax to the VCR in the living room and connect the audio and video outs on the VCR to the TV. You will then need to tune the VCR to receive channel 3 or 4. It will work.
