Yeah, its wrong. Stop being gutless and tell these guys the truth. Most people can handle rejection.
How insulting is it to lie to someone about your sexuality?
Have a bit of respect for these guys and sort it out.

As long as the guy doesn't come up with a response like.. 'I dont mind, I'm up for a threesome', you'll be good.

Although I find that telling them that you're already seeing someone works better. It's really embarassing when you get caught out, in you case, it would be when you're seen with another guy, which is bound to happen sooner or later.

Not very. At least no more so than it is for them to ask you about it or for them to hit on you, if that's how it happened.

As I understand your question, it has nothing to do with how effective it might be in accomplishing your purposes, but rather how morally wrong it is to mislead the other person. My answer is that under the circumstances it doesn't seem a bit morally wrong to me. He asked for it.

I have done it too, but only around people that I knew I would never see again, because I did not want the lie to catch up to me.

Some guys just don't take "no" for an answer, but they definitely take "I'm gay" seriously.

Wrong? No one loses an eye or dies but......

How would you feel if the shoe was on the other foot? When he realises you lied, and unless you intend to not date and not risk being found out he will, the poor schlep will lose all respect for you.

The words, "I like you, but not that way" are clear without being cruel.

Very wrong, I would have a hard time relating to you as a friend if you were here. Just break up, what is so hard about that???? I haven't lied about being into a guy, it isn't difficult to break up unless they are a psycho stalker type.......

Why dont you just tell the truth? If you don't like someone in that way, it's as simple as that!

It's okay... But you really shouldn't get use to doing it all the time because it will come back to you... Not to scare you or anything, but Karma's a *****... And well you know the rest...

Not wrong.

Just....kinda weird.

If you put yourself out there in that kind of lie/way,you might as well just walk out on him and never talk again.
