The size of my Flash Drive (USB) is 954 MB and size of file, i want to copy is 0.99 GB. Thats why i want to reduce the size of file I intend copying.

I recoment u to convert in to .7z extension

there is a compressing software named 7 zip the exe and sourse code are free


try it ..

Depend on what the .99GB is
If its MP3, you have no chance but to copy but minus a few songs, if its a single zip file, no, a single AVI, no chance as they are already compressed.
You could use WinZIP or WinRAR to split the file into two to copy it in smaller chunks
