It doesn't really bother me, usually I just skip their question and move on. After all, there are soooooo many questions being asked every day, I can't possibly answer them all anyhow! Only occasionally, when the question header sounded really interesting, I may feel a brief bit of regret if the rest of the question turns out to be totally garbled. But generally, it's really not worth getting upset about.

I've answered with HUH? at times also. I realize though that English is not the primary language of many of the people here and the mastery of it varies greatly among them. As you know, spell check only works if you have some idea of the proper spelling of the word. Choosing the wrong word from the list could change the meaning of the sentence or make it unintelligible. And then there are the questions that are unintelligible because they emanate from an unintelligent source. In either case you have 4 choices:
1)Answer as above,
2)Try to guess or figure out what they mean and answer accordingly,
3)Just make a comment about whatever happens to suit you, or
4)skip the question and move on to one that makes sense,

Yes, I do.
A person would get better responses if questions were phrased correctly.
I know that not everyone out there is a human dictionary but most of us have one sitting on a shelf somewhere. If not, there is always spelling and grammar check on the computer.
What REALLY irritates me is this slang BS. It grates on my nerves when I see a word that is supposed to end in "er" spelled with an "a" (for example..."brother" becomes "brotha"...how tacky can you get?). Another is "ho"...which is a garden tool, as opposed to "whore".
Forgive me if I'm 37 years old and not up to date with teenage terminology. Proper English would be appreciated.

Drives me crazy, but I was once berated for ridiculing a person's inability to write in English as he asked a question regarding pursuing an M.B.A program. It was apparent that English was not his first language. Oh well. It still pisses me off, and I can't stand the freaking abbrev.'s with the WTFs and LOLs, but more maddening is when people write completely in lower case. To me it's a sign of a devolving society that places convenience over everything.

If it is indecipherable, then yes it is annoying. If its just the odd word spelt slightly wrong BUT you can tell what it was meant to be, then my belief is everyone makes mistakes.
Also, you have to remember that other countries have different spellings of words; for example, on a message board I go on someone got really mad with me for writing 'mum' as opposed to 'mom' ... but that's how we spell it here!

ultimate on! Drives me nuts. extremely trouble-free with spell verify. tricky to discern yet i assume with lots of the "shortcuts" used for words they'd spend extra time with spell verify than writing the question. additionally regrettably extra time with spell verify than thinking the question they're submitting.

yes so perhaps there should be a spell check on the question board as for making sense there isn't a computer pro-gramme that can do that yet
