NO. Rice is one of the most dangerous foods to re-heat

Cooked rice should be kept in fridge once it's cooled because it contains harmful bacteria. Keeping it warm and reheating only helps this to grow so, if you must reheat it don't do it more than once and then make sure it is cooked for long enough to kill the germs. Still fancy eating it or serving it up?

I've heard that reheating rice can cause poisoning too (perhaps more so if it has been frozen?). However, I have eaten re-heated rice from last night about a thousand times and it never hurt me. So I would do it, but knowing that potentially it could be bad for me.

I used to eat rice all the time. Reheated it from the fridge, and even once in awhile when I forgot and left it out overnight. I've never heard of rice causing food poisoning, and I've never had any problems. (It was almost always whole grain rice that I would make, with nothing added.)

It is not a problem at all. I eat rice, cooking a week's supply and reheat it when I want to eat it, portioning them individually accordingly.

As a Chinese, fried rice will require, preferably, over-night rice, which would taste better.

If u want to reheat it, with frying, add some oil.
In a microwave, add some water and reheat accordingly.

rice is one of the worst foods to reheat as bacteria starts growing very soon after its cooked but i have reheated rice that has been left to cool then put in the fridge but for no longer than 12 hours

It can if you don't heat it properly. You must make sure its piping hot when reheated. I do it all the time and I haven't had food poisoning yet. Most chinese/indian restaurants use reheated rice to make fried rice and most people who buy this don't get food poisoning.

Of course it's safe to reheat rice.
Many Asian cultures have their own version of the fried rice which is simple but ultra delicious.
And the secret to good fried rice is actually to use rice that is a day old. I swear.

Why you think they got frozen dinners in the supermarket for. To reheat them of cause. If you cook the rice and got left overs in the freezer of cause you could heated up and eat. Not on the third time of cause.

It is absolutely fine to re-heat rice - just make sure it is piping hot all the way through - that is how the Chinese restaurants and others make fried rice. It is cooked, cooled, re-heated! I have never had food poisoning from rice!

As long as it didn't sit out all night and got refrigerated it should be fine to reheat. Just make sure you get it extremely hot when you do reheat just in case.
