The actor is Jason Gedrick who played Rick on the show. I'm hoping he will be back because I thought the story line was interesting and different for Lynette.
He was also recently in the show Windfall that didn't last long as a series.

He was in the movie Heavenly Kid, his Father was a ghost and taught him how to be cool like he was in the 50's.
BTW, after watching him on Desparate Housewives, Whenever I think of the pasta "Orrechiette" I think of him..lol.
I want Tom and Lynette to get along on the show so I don't want the chef back.
