It sounds like he meant well, cut him some slack. Guys don't always do exactly what a woman wants but that doesn't mean he doesn't love her, he just expresses his love in his own way

Since your being a mother doesn't really have a lot to do with your relationship with your boyfriend, he probably glossed over it assuming it wasn't that important to you. Unfortunately guys do this a lot, no matter how old they get. Forgive him. Take him up on his offer for Wednesday, and when he gives you the card, you should FIRST gush about how sweet it was for him to get you a card, THEN express a concern about not hearing from him again, and being a little worried that he'd forgotten about you. Let him know that it was important to you that he celebrate that day with you. He didn't flake it on purpose, I guarantee. I'm sure he didn't even realize how you felt, and of course, there's no way you can expect him to know. Just talk with him over dinner Wedneday, and keep it as pleasant as possible, keep the accusing tones out of your voice, be thankful for the card, and enjoy the evening!

I'd be a little upset if you were my girlfriend, had a child with another man by the sound of it and then demanded a mothers day card from me too. Are you going to get him a fathers day present? If so I take it back but I severely doubt you will.

when you called him and he didn't return your call within a reasonable amount of time, there is a problem. whatever you do, don't sit around and wait for a guy to call you. that's what they expect. whether it is mother's day or any day. he's not the only guy in the world.

I'm sure it just slipped his mind since its not his kid. He was probably just thinking about his mom. Let this one go, give him another try for next year. sounds like he loves you.

Do I have to get a mother's day card for every mom I know?? It ain't his kid, let your baby's daddy get you your card!

well most guys arent as sensitive as women, but hey, your guy was sweet to at least make it up to you. some guys wouldn't even bother and make it seem so casual like nothing happened
