Nothing New :(
Ok I will tell you something new so you will have learned something new today...
I have a scar on the second toe of my left foot in the shape of a pitchfork (3 tines and a handle/shaft...can't remember where/how I got it, it's been there as long as I can remember... pretty cool scar) and a scar in the shape of a heart on my right hand ( Got it while making a lost wax sculpture, I dropped a bit of the hot wax onto my hand... also a cool scar )...
Now you know something new :)

Because we don't know HOW he does things, but He does them. You can't tell me I'm wrong because it is an experience. Things happen to me that I can't explain. I feel God's presence in my life daily. I feel peace in situations that should be chaotic. I feel calm in situations that should be stressful. I feel protection in dangerous situations. I feel him speak to me many many times throughout my days. I've been a Christian for 27 years and don't need a reality check, because I know what is real. It is a real experience, feeling, an overwhelming presence of God. I DO NOT have a blind meaningless faith and you wouldn't know what kind of faith it is because you haven't given it a chance. I guarantee that if you give your life to Christ, get saved, pray a prayer of repentance, and ask God to come into your life and show himself and you truly seek him, you WILL find him. He is real and I will never deny him and noone will ever be able to convince me he doesn't exist. He is very real and meaningful in my life. Try him and you will see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We m,ay never know just HOW Jesus performed his miracles.
Its a bit like asking HOW nuclear plants operate.
Its the BENEFITS that concern us.
What we DO know is that Jesus was given the ability by his Father [ Jehovah God] in heaven.
Jesus did NOTHING of his own initiative.
(John 5:19) Therefore, in answer, Jesus went on to say to them: “Most truly I say to YOU, The Son cannot do a single thing of his own initiative, but only what he beholds the Father doing. For whatever things that One does, these things the Son also does in like manner. Ther scriptures that say the same thing...John 5;30...7;28...8;28,42...10;18

I don't think it's nice to tell believers that they need a reality check. People can have faith in whatever they choose. It's their choice. Just like how it's your choice to be an atheist.

That is so true, my friend. Lamentable, but true.
But I agree to what the other guy says, why care about Christ so much? He's just another guy, nothing different from Muhammad, Buddha, Siant Nick or Stalin. Attacking Christians so much only give them a feeling of superiority above people of other religions (plus making them feel good about themselves because they are sooo persecuted; they're masochists, you know, and all the persecution is supposedly "prophesied", and the end is really near). Leave Jesus alone as long as he doesn't endager the existence of the human race, the prolifiration of liberty, the exercise of our freedoms, and the reign of reason.

Are you really looking for an answer or a confrontational answer!
One has as much chance of making an Atheist see as a snowball's chance in Hell.

Why do you have to ridicule someone elses beliefs? I don't believe in God in the conventional sense but i would NEVER say that anyone elses beliefs were wrong. People who believe in God have faith that their beliefs are true, if you don't share that belief then fine but don't ridicule those who do, that makes you as bad as the religious people who are constantly saying you will go to hell for not having faith. Live and let live :-)

What really p....s...s me off are people who are so unintelligent as to believe the far-fetched stories in the bible, none of which are true; then they pretend they are the intelligent ones and we, the high IQ elite, are the unintelligent ones.
There`s none so stupid as those who do not know they are stupid.
Ask a barmy person which people are barmy, and he`ll say, "Everyone but me!"
Jesus said, that only, `Those who believe will go to heaven," meaning, "You are damned if you don`t believe and will go to hell. Believe and you will go to Heaven."
Sheer terrorist blackmail by those who wrote these `fairy stories` and were unable to explain all these so-called non-existant` made-up miracles.`

We should all be tolerant of one another. Besides, christians don't have to prove or explain the unexplainable that pervades their belief. As long as their beliefs work for them, and they don't breed hatred and contempt on those who don't agree with them, or encroach upon our rights through state imposed religious bigotries, then just let them be. Otherwise let's beat the bejeezus' out of them with reason.
