I just got my Lip piercing well its like a lowbret anyway I was keen on it and wanted it but now since I have it done I don't want it anymore :S I got it done 3 days ago when do you think i should take it out? would it be better when its been changed to a smaller bar thing to do it then and also would the scar show up that bad?

u could go ahead & take it out now, that way there`s less chance of a noticible scar!!!

If you've decided you don't like it, you can go back to your piercer to have it removed at any time (it doesn't make sense to heal it first then remove it, you will end up with a larger scar). Continue with your sea salt soaks for at least a few days. As long as there is no infection present in the piercing, it's perfectly safe to remove it.

If you only got it done 3 days ago, take it out! The longer you leave it, the more it will scar. If in doubt, ask a professional for advice.

I had my lip pierced and i didn't want it anymore so i just took it out and i don't even have a scar!!

i have my side lip peirced and i hated how uncomfortable it was but i got a shorter barbel and let it heel and ive been really happy . you shuoldnt take it out it takes a bit to get used to new things and if you do take it out there wont be much of a scarr at all is it is a 14 or 16 guage

omg lip piercing didn't it hurt u, same happened to my sister she got her lip pierced and then after didn't want it anymore and now u can tell she had her lip pierced just leave it or u'll get a mark

if you don't like it ,it would be better to go ahead and remove it.the earlier you take it out ,the faster the scar will go. use some cream .
