Losing weight takes discipline, good nutrition (you must eat to lose weight), and most importantly Exercise. Start with 30 min of brisk walking a day, increase to 1 hour after a few weeks. Join a gym if you have the funds to do so. Join a weight lose support group if you need a group dynamic. Watch those calories, try a food program like Nutrasystem, south beach, the zone etc; And finally, stick to it......Discipline is key! use these simple tools and your sure to lose those pounds.

i followed the "weight watchers no count" diet and lost over 30 pounds. its an eating plan for the rest of ur life not a faddy diet, you have a long list of foods and can eat what u want from the list in 3 meals a day ( no stupid counting points) u just have to stop eating when u are full ( not stuffed to bursting point) as well as the diet i started jogging 3 times a week. i've not only lost weight but my skin is alot better and i no longer suffer from depression or pms, so the healthy eating and excercise has improved my whole life. i hope this gives u some help and good luck.

start by eating 5 to 6 mini meals a day and exercise. drink lots of water and you"ll do just fine. Don't expect to be a size 0 in a few weeks real long term results take time!!! Try to write down everything you eat in a journal if possible because that can help to see where you may go wrong also have a picture or a piece of clothing you really want to fit in as inspiration when that piece of cake is calling at 2am. Good Luck!!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Do an internet Search on South Beach Diet. It's great! My boyfriend's entire family (who seem to have the 'heavy' gene) went on it last year and they lost a LOT of weight!
I'm on it myself atm to get myself ready for bikini season and have shed 6 pounds so far. The recipes are delicious and you will never go hungry.
It was orignally designed by a doctor for people with heart disease, so it's not one of those fad diets that are useless or dangerous. I highly recommend it!

Eat well, allow one small bad food snack a day and go for walks before work or whatever you do in the morning.
Good luck.
