I don't react well to Prozac. It makes me nuts like textbook mania and worsened depression, but I'm not bipolar. I also take hormonal birth control and I don't want anything that reacts with that. I'd ask a doctor, but I don't want to see one yet. I want to do some research myself. Thanks.

None, unfortunately...unless you want to kill your liver. Drink lightly instead--there's no need to get inebriated.

How have you ruled out being bipolar if you haven't seen a doctor? Antidepressants will absolutely make a bipolar person manic and not help the depression without also taking mood stabilizers such as lamictal etc. Get off the prozac, get a professional diagnosis and do not drink. Alcohol will depress you even more.

I take Celexa, and have suffered no side effects from having some drinks with it. I was also taking hormones at one time, and had so side effects.

Prozac had the same effect on me. I quit taking them abruptly, before I could even get back to the doctor, because I thought that I was going crazy.

That hormonal birth control is powerful mojo when you combine it with other things. I say go to a doc and see if there is a natural solution to this problem especially if you go nuts. If you want to tip a few back it is a good idea. It took my friend about 4 different meds to get it right. Shes pretty cool now, sleeps more now (side effect) She tips on occasion with me. Good luck

Clinically, none of them. When you're taking mood altering drugs you're not supposed to partake in other mood altering substances, such as alcohol. However, I have had no negative effects drinking while on Wellbutrin XL, Lamictal and Abilify.
