You realize that most people don't interpret the Bible literally right? So if you are speaking of someone you have personally met who refuses to doubt a single thing in the bible, then perhaps that person is just stupid.

Unfortunately yes.

In fact, one of the most favourite psalms (because it is repeated so often) is "the Lord is my shepherd". Thus implied when singing, we are willing and happily ignorant sheep.

Now if Jesus founded christianity, this wouldn't necessarily had been a problem. Unfortunately it was Paul of Tarsus, Josephus ben Matthias (St Luke) and the same Jewish High Priests who had Jesus crucified that created the parasitic religion of christianity to crush Jesus and his gnostic message.
See:

So it makes the willing ignorance of so many good christians extremely dangerous and unfortunate. For they have no idea the true nature of the "god" whom they worship.

It certainly isn't the creator of the universe, rather a figure frequently represented with horns and a tail...

Here is a Scripture to show how God encourages Christians to study His word:
Prov 1:1-6 My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding

God does not want Christians to be mindless but to renew their minds (Romans 12:2) and to have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16).

Absolutly, they only know what there told about there belief. over 90% of them have never done any research on there own belief let alone someone elses. If you ask them how many types of christianity there are they look at you like you just tried to hand them a flash light in the midle of the day. You know what they say "ingnorance is bliss", and religious people have alot of bolth.

LOL...some of them are but everyone wants to feel important and have meaning in this meaningless world...some of them just create their own logic when discussing their beliefs because being a Christian is what they feel defines them...don't give them too hard of a time...some of them don't have much else to be proud of

You will have to agree this one amongst yourselves, I do not question the Bible I know it is the inspired utterance of God.
Whether you think it is or not is none of my business.
