if body doesnt get energy its starts burning its own sources - muscle first, 1 lb of muscle gives only 600cal (1lb of fat - 3500cal) its logical - why keep something that gives little calories if you can save something with much more energy in it (fat).

Aerobic exercises accompanied with low sodium and low fat diet will burn fats faster that your muscles. Increasing your Potassium ( found in bananas and apples) and Protein( lean meat, fish) diet intake together with regular exercise( at least 3-4 times a week maximum 1 hour) will increase muscle strength and cardiovascular(heart) vitality. Fasting is not a smart idea, it will only deplete your physical and mental abilities. Studies shows that when we do fasting our body releases toxic chemicals that effects our cognitive and psychomotor abilities, and could predispose our body to other diseases such as peptic ulcer, anemia, and many others. In short, our body needs to be nourished the right way. If you need to be fit physically and mentally, just exercise, balance diet and be happy!

straight forward answer. muscle goes then the fat, your body wants to hold onto fat as it is the source of insulation. fasting is not a good way to lose weight; trust me. why dont you start a workout regiment. that way, you make sure you are building lean muscle, and burning off excess fat. and think about it, you can eat.

It`s funny and wierd but it`s a little bit of my facts. I believe your muscle burns faster, and first. The reason is because you are on a lean diet, and your fasting, where is the fat your burning, instead your squezzing your muscles and draining yourself.

yes, it burns fat. I cant really give a scientific explanation per say, but it takes the fat and turns it into healthy weight. like if you have a big belly and then you start doing a lot of situps, it will get toned.

Muscle will go first if you are fasting or consuming too few calories. To prevent muscle loss, be sure to get plenty of protein and do strength training.

Music forces you to eat more. According to a work by the journal Psychology along with Marketing, soft, classical tunes encourage one to take time over your food, so you consume more foods. So, switch off – silence can make you more aware of what you’re applying your mouth.

the fat burns first if you are very lean then you will burn muscle, and that can cause horrible physical problems.
