this lottery is suppose to be from Yahoo lottery international. inc yahoo lottery intl inc. And is based in the U.K. and is supposed to be a monthly drawing

they have asked me to go to no other links or for any type of S.S. # or anything but have gave me contact information to contact them, and gave me a contact person and address in the U.K. they did say to contact them to file a claim for the winings

Sounds like a classic Phishing scam - they ask you for your address, e-mail, phone number, social security/SIN #, and a copy of your driver's license (or passport)...

All this just to "confirm" that you are actually the "Winner"

NEVER reply to any of these - you are just asking to be the victim of Identity Theft!

Edit: If Yahoo was ever to offer something like this, it would be advertized ALL over the site - not just sent to your e-mail address.

Haven't we all seen these scams enough now to recognize them everytime? Di you enter this contest??? If not, then why in the world would someone contact you and tell you that you won a contest that you did not enter. In law enforcement we call that a "CLUE"!
