The best way to loose weight would be to 'reduce' calories and increase exercise. Starving yourself will lead to quick results, but in the long run you will gain back more weight than you originally took off and you may possibly get permanent damage. Make sure any diet you follow gives you all the nutrients you need.
130g of carbs is needed to prevent ketosis.
20g of fat per day is necessary. If you cut out all the fat your body will hold onto it longer!!! Make sure it's good fat like in olive oil.
30-50g of protein is needed. You would probably be fine at about 1000 calories per day then slowly increase calories once you've acheived your ideal weight. Make sure you take a multivitamin when you cut calories. Flinstones complete is actually very good.

This is the worst way to attempt to lose weight. Most of the weight you lose will be back within a week of resuming your regular eating and during the week of not eating your body will have very little energy because food provides energy to the body.

Much better to take a healthy eating approach, eating fruits and vegetables with some protein, you will have energy and you will lose weight gradually.

No one can tell you exactly how much weight you will lose on any diet program, every body is unique.

Yeah your body will go to into starvation.
It would be really bad to put your body through that.
And it would be much better and safer to go on a diet, if you eat all healthy foods, then your body will lose weight and be healthy.
But to not eat is the worse way to lose weight.

this will not be a good idea. because this way you would really harm your body. dont be too worried about your weight. just exercise and eat the right food. just drinking the whole week and not eating anything would make your body really weak. you may not even be well mentally. besides, if you stop eating, your body would turn the muscles into fat and store it. that way, you may be skinny, but fat..... just exercise, eat healthy you would fine.

yes, you will lose weight, and you will experience minor side effects.

for example...death! don't stop eating for a week.

have you ever heard of hyper-hydration? your water-phosphate ratio will get out of whack, your cells will expand and your blood vessels will burst.

this happened to college students during hazing. they drank too much water.

please don't do that.. it is not healthy. you will probably loose a bit of weight but you will loose your muscle, your body has to have food or it will not function. loosing weight is fine but do it the right way. if it was easy we would all be skiny!!

yes you will but you will get stomach ulcers and your metabolism will go into starvation mode, meaning the next time you eat something your body will store all the fat making it so you will gain more weight in the end.
