i follow this every day
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Well I think the reason why so many Chinese people are so skinny and healthy is most likely because they don't eat as much food as Americans do that contain additives, preservatives, trans fats, unhealthy oils etc. They eat plenty of the healthy stuff, like raw veggies, fruits, fish, and not much fast food. I try to eat as healthy as possible, especially because I have Type 1 diabetes. I mostly eat just raw veggies (not salad) and fruit. Try not to eat so much fast food and junk food; as it is very unhealthy. Why not treat your body nicely by feeding it what it needs instead of what your emotions tell it to? You'll do it a BIG favor if you start eating healthy... and remember, it's never too late to be healthy.

For awhile I was eating a lot of Kosher hot dogs but my body has told me I'm full of them; I can feel my heart being full, and can't eat any more. I would eat cheese a few times a week but can't get any Kosher cheese here; one kind but it molded too fast. Also I would eat more fresh salads but the lettuce goes bad in a couple of days and always some wastes. Been craving Buffalo Beef Ox burgers (K)but no such thing here. Have been eating snack foods, bagels and cream cheese or butter, peanut butter and jelly on rye; having trouble getting an appetite for vegs (again). Also been having cherry lemon drink I think it's got Vit C in it also I eat canned fruit

Most food that you get at restaurants is less healthy than food you cook yourself at home, because restaurants add a lot of oils and other fats to make it taste good. But whatever diet you choose, you should eat a wide variety of foods, including lots of fruits and vegetables and lots of plant-based foods. Here are some healthy meals I ate this week:
-Vegetable stir-fry with brown rice and soy sauce
-Homemade pizza with spinach, mushrooms, and broccoli
-Tuna sandwich on whole wheat bread with lettuce and other veggies
-Pasta with olive oil, cheese, and vegetables
-Peanut butter and jelly sandwich on wheat bread with side of fruit salad and skim milk
I'm vegetarian, but you can also make a lot of meals with chicken or beef and vegetables with some kind of sauce that will be nutritious, filling, and tasty. Learning how to cook will be a really good way to help start being more healthy.

I love fast food, but it doesn't love me, so I decided I was tired of the one way love affair and switched to veggies, fruits, lean protein...and an occasional "cheat" with a burger or candy bar.
Here's what I took to work today: natural almonds, California dates (yummy combo), a mix of baby carrots, sugar snap peas and grape tomatoes, a new bag of dried fruit (cranberries, sour cherries and blueberries), some pita bread and hummus. I also had a Balance Bar in case I needed it in the afternoon. I drank a cup of coffee in the morning, and water the rest of the day. When I got home, I had some chicken breast and a piece of cheese. I never really got super hungry all day.

I like meat and veggies (hot veggies and salads). Breakfast is eggs or meat or a high-protein cereal.
