If I were you, he'd be getting no tip, because he wouldn't be doing the tattoo. Considering that this 'artist' is acting very unprofessional, I'd say that the chances are pretty good that his tattoos are unprofessional too. Aside from that, even if he was a great tattoo artist, I wouldn't get a tatoo from him based on principle alone. Anybody who treats thier clients that way deserves no business.

No, screw him. They are supposed to care about clients just like anyone else in their business. What you should do is not show up for your appt and then tell him you couldn't make it. Go to a better shop where they are going to get you in when they say they will. And if you still go to this guy, DON'T TIP HIM!!

I would find a more professional artist and take my business elsewhere, myself. For something this permanent and potentially dangerous, you need a service provider you can count on!
If you make an appointment, keep it. If there's a good reason to reschedule, fine, but more than one reschedule is definitely a bad sign..... and bad business!

tattoos are forever, everytime I look at mine I remember who did it, where I was, what was going on in my life, and the experience surrounding the "getting of the ink"
It sounds to me like this experience has been nothing but a headache. I STRONGLY suggest finding a different artist ! !!
You will want this to be a pleasant memory and a wonderful experience to treasure forever.
Good Luck!

Dude, don't give him anything! You are already paying him for his services anyway, why does he need a tip? if you are already not satisfied, why are you not getting someone else to do it? What if he totally screws it up?

No! He's the one that put you through the trouble. And if the tat isn'e EXACTLY the way you want it, go somewhere else to get it done.
