go to your local news website or google it...you can find a list in your imediate area. If you have lived in your home for some time..and never had a sheriff deliver a black n white poster type thing..then you're probably 'good' I had them deliver those twice now when a predator had moved into an apartment near our gated community/subdivison. and on that paper it gave a web addy to see more...
Luckily I live across street from a school, so less likely for a registered sex offender to be near me and my children. but, that is only the registered. danger is everwhere. and most of those 'predators' are or were or will be friends of family...not a random stranger.

John Walsh has a website, www.familywatchdog.us that has where they live, work, and a map that points out the streets they are on. It also lists how close they are to schools and playgrounds. It's the best one out there to use for info.

or you can look in the phone book and see how far you stay from mike jackson lol.......
