Ok, here's the Deal: yesterday was my first mother's day. My man made me breakfast, then took a nap. We went to my grandmothers and he did some yard work, we came home he was supposed to make me dinner but went to bed at 6pm instead. Durring this he never even gave me a card. But he mad sure that we stoped a picked up head phones for his PS2 so he could play that. GRRRR------!

Honey my advice would be to do the exact opposite,make the breakfast,get the gift,make his favorite meal for lunch,write a letter from your child to him saying how special he thinks his father is,go over board the foot massage anything and everything you can think of and remember to take lots of photos to remind him throughout the year, i promise you next year will be very different with the bonus of him feeling really guilty for a while, whats the saying do unto others, it does work,you should end up having a really good birthday and Christmas this year and it will be fun.

No not really far but that is how it usually ends up. This was my 18th mothers day and it always ends up kind of crappy.
