How do I stop coming off as...?

arrogant , stuck up and unapproachable? I am non of these traits i am a bit quiet and shy around some girls, I've been told I was attractive by different girls but I don't get approached much..

I can sympathize with you because I've been told that I come off as being a bit "cold" . . . I suspect unapproachable and arrogant too. And I often find that in groups, people often get along better with each other than they seem to get along with me. Many people perceive quietness as snobbishness, as if you don't WANT to talk to them. The same thing goes for shy mannerisms like not looking at people enough (don't overdo it, but if you never look at them they'll think you're not interested in them at all). The only way I can think of to cure that is to try to be friendly to everyone as much as possible without being excessive. Talk to strangers, it's good for you. I need to do more of that myself, actually. I kinda hope someone can give you a better answer than this, because I'd like to know if there's more I can do to improve my own situation. Good night!

If you are quiet and shy, why do you think you come off as arrogant, stuck up and unapproachable? Maybe you are too shy and they take it as you are not interested in them?

Are you making eye contact? Most women like to be "noticed" and even if you're shy, women will take this as being stuck-up. I think you need to at least acknowledge girls and say the smallest of hello to them...try the small stuff first, then work your way up from there. Good luck!

Don't answer every question that is raised, say hello to the lowest person in school nd at work and be their friend, get may hobbies. Improve yourself and the rest will happen naturally. Besides you'll be happier and have friends. Remember popularity ends on year-book day, but respect lasts a lifetime.
