Check out this site, these people are HUGE SCAMMERS!!!

I uploaded a photo on their site, then all the "you were chosen" emails/letters started and offers to purchase things from them at lower prices, I know, I should have looked them up first, they seemed so real. So, I wanted to post this to hopefully help others!

Yeah, Poetry.com too is a HUGE scam, I too got snail mail from them asking me to purchase a book that my photo would be in, and all this other crap. I feel dooped, however, I'm going to do all I can to expose them, send in letters to news investigative teams and what have you, I just wont walk away, they have my photo and most likely making money from it. At least I can say I did my part!

Thanx for your in put!

The ILP is not a scam in the pure sense of the word. They do indeed publish a book and sell it at inflated prices. I believe they do actually award a few prizes here and there. Their business practices fit more under the category of slimy.

I am a photo lab manager. I have a customer who came in with the great news that she had been published and was now an award winning photographer. She ordered the book with her photo in it. Sure enough, the book arrived and she brought it in for me to see. I agreed how wonderful it was, and she was happy.

So just don't order the book and all is well. They probably have an un-subscribe site to reduce the emails. But they probably share info with lots of other questionable sites.

I came across one of their affiliates at one point called Poetry.com and it was pretty bad. My friend and sister told me they were scammers especially after my friend sent in a poem that was about 4 words of nonsense. Then they starting sending me letters and trying to persuade me to buy there so called book of talented poets and that I was going to be in it. But thanks for the website link, and that Photography one did sound awfully familiar.
