I've had one tooth pulled. The only part that hurt was the injection of the local anesthetic, but that was pretty bad by itself.

oh my gosh, im with you. i've had so many teeth pulled i've lost count. i always get scared when i have to have a tooth pulled. one thing that should help, is that a few seconds before they pull it, count to five. it helps. cause once you're at five, it's over with. it's really not a big deal. for me, i got the gas, and they put that numbing stuff on it too. if u ask them to do that, you dont feel a single thing. i was soooooo scared, but i couldn't feel anything, it really works, the gas really works, just ask for it if they don't offer it. and just remember, it only last no more than five seconds. don't worry, it's not so bad. well, good luck!!!

I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled in August. They gave me a shot of something with a needle. I did not feel a thing. I fell asleep quick. Started to wake u p in th middle. They quickly did another. Woke up in a recliner in another room. I never felt a thing and do not remember any of it either. I slept the whole way home and for a while afterwords. They gave me Perks for after, 24 hours later with perks and no solid food they made me sick. Switched to regular aleve and all pain stopped there as well.

Ok i'am no dentist, but i did it before, and theirs a major diffrence if u get the gas, if u get gas, u will fall asleep as soon as u ask when u'll fall asleep and u'll sleep and feel nothing. But if u just get it pulled, it wont hurt, maybe a little bit, but not to much. After that they'll put cotten in the place where they took off ur tooth, and u'll feel much better.
By the way
Good Luck
Although you wont really need it.

Don't worry, darlin... you'll be just fine. First of all, yes, the Nitrous Oxide will help relax you. Second, before the dentist gives you the shot to numb you, he'll use a topical anesthetic to numb the area of the injection. It's a gel that he'll rub on with a swab. The worrying is the worst part.

every time i've had a tooth pulled, i've been knocked out. if your dentist doesn't do that, he'll use novicane so you won't feel a thing. take some ibuprofin before it wears off and it won't be as sore.
