i get a speeding ticket in a school zone its marked 20at all times. i admitt i was doing 30 but the cop said i was doing 45 no way i just pulled out of another street anyway. he doesnt give me a ticket because i cant find my license so he tells me to meet him back at the office after i get off work 3 hrs later. so i do. he shuts the door and proceeds to tell me that if he gives me a ticket for 45 in 20 i go to court but if he writes it as 30 in 20 its a fine only and did i want him to be nice or not? i said i guess i want the 30 since thats how fast i was going. and he said well its not just that easy. he said i could be really nice and throw the ticket away. (this cop has a rep for picking up women and letting them go for sex but i didnt believe it) anyway at that time i just said i think you should start writing that tick. he said but i could still be nice. and i said you do what you need to do and let me leave please he wrote it for 30 do you think he was offering me sex? or what?

This clown should be bagging groceries at the local A & P. NO, under no circumstances should an officer make comments anywhere near what he did to you and to set up any kind of date or "meeting" would have an officer here enjoying a couple days off without pay, and that's just for starters.
Trust me, if he did it to you, he's done it to others and still is doing it now. Help someone else, maybe even save a life, and give this guy a better understanding of a power trip - when he's in jail. I know I'll sleep better knowing he's not giving all of us a bad name.
Write everything down and make copies, then go to the department, district attorney's office, attorney general, mayor's office, or whoever handles these things there and stand your ground. Thank you for coming out about this event.
Stay safe and stay smart.

Doesn't sound good to me. If all you say is true then I would report him, although since he didn't specifically try to arrange that it may be hard to pursue but his actions are not standard practice or should not be for sure. I think you handled it well. He may not have been wanting sex exactly but rather trying to arrange a date, which is still way bad.
If you really think this guy is doing this type of stuff he needs to lose his badge, you could run your own sting on him and met him again and get a recording of him offering to drop the ticket in exchange for something. You say it is rumored that he does this type of stuff, it you can substantiate that rumor, I mean if you can find another women or two this happened to you would be on a roll.

File a complaint with the police service, this is not normal behaviour. Makes me wonder how you knew about the officer's aleged reputation though?

genuinely every person who claims to be "customary" is a wierd ball in my opinion anyhow, yet i in my opinion think of that a guy or woman who asks questions like this particularly has no thought what feminism is all approximately. you in all probability met one or 2 people who you disagreed with or who confirmed you lack of expertise, and you made up on your strategies that each and all and sundry feminists usually have been like that. it fairly is like asserting that each and each white or black guy or woman would be racist - come on now, that's in simple terms no longer actual. in my opinion, i've got faith in equality for the sexes. i do no longer shun others who don't have the comparable ideals as my own; in simple terms like my boyfriend, friends or kin do no longer shun me for my ideals. I take care of every person (meaning woman and male) with know, regardless of their looks, race, and so on. end being so judgemental. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ customary = no longer feminists (yeah, nicely, Ted Bundy stated he became into customary too, and all of us understand how he became out).

Report him. If he gets enough complaints, the internal affairs will nail him.

He wrote it for 30, to
keep your mouth shut.
It should be reported,
but you can't prove it.
