There are several things that could be causing your nose bleeds. For instance, when I was young, I used to get a nosebleed every time I had eaten too much sugar. Other possibilities are high blood pressure or just plain fragile capillary walls in your nose: That does happen.
Since you're bleeding twice a day, you'll want to start cutting out a lot of sugar. And see a doctor to make sure you don't have diabetes or blood pressure problems.
Good luck!

Well I am not a doctor. My experience is not much related to this, but my sister used to get these quite often. I was worried. She was taking a medication that thinned her blood to cause them. So we were told. To get them to stop at the bridge of your nose between the eyes, hold firm pressure. 5min or so. I would see a doctor to find out the cause. I would request a CBC to make sure your labs are good. So some questions I would ask myself is any medications causing this? Or is my nose dry and scabbing to cause the bleeding?? Humidifier and bactroban in nose would help that. It can be serious so see a doctor.

See a doctor - an ear nose and throat specialist if you can. The problem could be as simple as very dry air. Or it could be something serious. Some simple problems might be fixed in the doc's office or with some take-home treatment.

Sometimes people get nosebleeds when the wind blows fast. Sometimes they get them when they are to high. Sometimes they get them when there nose is too dry. It could be your allergies or sometimes it's just hereditary. One thing that you should probably do is go see a doctor becuase 10 minutes and twice a day is not common. But I woudn't stress that much over it. Just see what he/she has to say about it.
Good Luck!

That is a lot you should look into going to an ear nose and throat dr. My older sister used to get them frequently and they preformed a simple non invasive procedure that did not even require pain killers that took care of the problem (I think it was called soughtering). Another thing that may help is a humidifier.

Well, I haven't ever gotten them that often, I believe it is either picking your nose (which I'm going to doubt that you do) or due to dry weather. I can't answer all these questions but I heard that vegitable oil rubbed inside the nostrils help because it is moist and wont evaporate easily or something like that.
