In order for God to be created, there would have to be something before God.
God created everything, including time. There is no "before" in relation to God, because time is in God's hands. As God created time, He is not confined within it. Therefore, His existence does not require a catalyst. He has no beginning. He IS the beginning.
To say that God "has always been" is the easiest way for people, whose physical existence is mostly temporal, to explain eternity. But it is not precisely accurate. God exists in eternity, a state outside the finite boundaries of time.
When he created time, he created it in totality, from beginning to end. Time is in his control; it is entirely in his hands.

You are confusing spirit with matter. He manifested everything with thought, from the spiritual side. The Spiritual side of God, or His mind, has alwas been. He does manifest Himself all the time through willing vessels. He came and dwelt in a body, first as Adam and then as Jesus. He created Jesus as a way to bring Himself back to man after Adam His first creation became disceived by Lucifer. It is just the human perception of time and space being confined to a body that has difficulty with the concept of forever. If you would step outside of your body for moment you would understand that without your body it is always now and will always be now. Now is eternal and so are you.

Nothing was creatred. Time and the self are both illusions. Most peoples understanding of what god really is way off. God is not an old man in the sky. God is the source in which all in the universe comes from. God is everything. God is in the space between us. God is in the table in front of you. God is everything and everywhere and everyone. All life is one you come from the earth and will be recycled back when u die

Thats a good qeustion. As you go back and ask who created the creator then who created that creator your eventually going to have to draw the line and say a certain creator has always been. Its an interesting thought. To me existance proves that something is out there thats eternal. Something "has always been".

All believers will just excuse themselves from answering and say when we die God will explain these things.
Why not just say there is no god. When someone asks where did everything originate from just say when mans knowledge grows in the future we will understand these things.

It's funny that so many people have no problem declaring "God always was" but they're the same people who'd practically s.hit their pants at the suggestion that "the universe always was."

He is eternal. He dwells in timelessness, that is, outside the physical restraints of space-time. In the Bible, this is paraphrased in the term "the First and the Last".
"For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: 'I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit.'" - Isaiah 57:15

He (it) is something that we need to beleive in in order to keep us sane and at piece in knowing (thinking) that there is something greater out there so when we die we will be in a better place - so we think or hope. God is something man needs to excuse his wrong doings.
