No, the "grace period" ends at 12:01am, the date of cancellation, after you didn't pay the policy. Sorry. There are no automatic extensions.

You're out of luck on this. Or rather, you're out of pocket on it.

Well it kinda depends on what state you are in and the reason you were canceled and what company you have.
If the 10th was your renewal date and you didn't pay your renewal a couple companies will give 15 days grace. So as long as you got your premium in before the end of 15 days then they would cover an acc on the 14th. If you don't get the premium in within 15 days then coverage stops on the 10th. If you were canceled for non-pay or other reason then the date on the notice is the last day.

You were canceled on the 10th. Coverage ended that day. Grace periods usually mean you can pay the premium after the due date, and they will not let your coverage lapse. After it has lapsed or canceled, you are SOL.

Sorry you have to learn about it this way. Go get some insurance so you don't have to worry about this ever again!

A grace period is a little different than what you are looking for. The grace period is something that allows you to file a claim after your insurance lapses or cancels but only if the claim is based on something that happened during your policy term.

Your term ended on the 10th, so you would probably have 30-60 days grace to file a claim for something that happened before.

Sorry, Mbrcatz is correct, you don't have any coverage.
