Yes, you can. Often allergies and sensitivities develop later, or responses can "move" -- as from a skin rash to stomach distress. Try eliminating it from your diet for a while, then gradually reintroducing it to see if that's the culprit. If you must have milk products (and they are hard to resist), use Lactaid. It really helps.

Yes it can. You may want to see if cheese, ice cream, yogurt or anything else give you problems. About 5 years ago I developed partial lactose intolerant to where nothing bothered me except drinking milk. I have heard of that happening to other people as well including my dad, as he can have everything except yogurt. Another thing you can do is just do your best to avoid milk if you are, like when I become intolerant I was in high school still so I started buying & drinking soda's for breakfast & lunch at school instead of milk & stayed away from drinking any milk & it helped big time. After about 3 years of not drinking any milk, I decided to try a small glass & it did not give me a problem. I'm currently at the point to where as long as I have no more than one small glass a day, it doesn't give me a problem, however if I start drinking alot of milk, or drinking it everyday than I'm sick again.

Yes you can. As we get older our bodies change and what we use to beable to tolerate often we can no longer handle. My daughter has Lactose Intolerance and a laundry list of allergies. It can be frustrating. I suggest staying away from those things that make you feel bad. What happens too is sometimes you find you can handle a little, but it builds up in your body overtime and then you find yourself sick.

Yes you can develop it - I just did last year. The Lactaid pills help ALOT. I've been able to eat any dairy I want without any problems as long as I take a pill with the first bite. I do use lactose-free milk, & soy delicious ice cream is a good alternative, but if you don't like the alternatives, stick with the pills.

I developed lactose intolerance in my late 20's and life has been sucky since then.
No ice cream, no egg nog, no malts.
The lactose free stuff just isn't worth it, and the pills give you the runs.
It bites!
