I have allergies in MAY and EARLY June ONLY. They go away in the summer. I am allergic to pollen, my eyes get itchy, but then I just put eye drops in. But my nose is running like CRAZY, and is itchy like hell! I'm constantly sneezing. I don't look like I have allergies, I look like I have a deadly disease its so bad!

I take my medication my doctor prescribes, he said it was the strongest he could prescribe to me at age thirteen. I know some families have some "special" tricks to get rid of allergies in these special ways. Or does anybody have any advice to make my allergies to go down, or those family special tricks?

Did he try a steroidal nasal spray? Beconase AQ or Nasonex work great for me. Also I would suggest that you get a good air purifier. It sounds like you are allergic to tree pollen. Allergy shots can really help. I had allergy shots for nine years and it has done me a lot of good. It has been five years since I was on the shots.

I can sympathize with that!

Some people have suggested honey. I don't know if it will work or not, but it can't hurt. Others suggest echinecea- but don't use this if you're allergic to ragweed.

Meanwhile, I've found that a cup of tea with sugar, honey, and ginger in it helps a lot of things. At least it will make you less miserable. And if you have to work out in the lawn, wear a painter's mask to keep some of the pollen out.

Good luck!

You can find a person who tends to bees in your area. They can collect the pollen balls from the bee entrance to the hives. Take a spoonful a day and it will help my son has the worst allergies around and a wise older man told us about it because he takes shots every week and the other medicines also but this helped him. Good Luck.

Well that's a pretty stupid correlation. So if a group just goes out and kills less people than some other thing, it's pretty much ok? AND IT'S NOT ALL JUST ROCKETS EITHER GENIUS, BLOWN UP BUSSES, BLOWN UP SUICIDE BOMBER TARGETS, OUTRIGHT MURDER LIKE A LITTLE WHILE AGO A WHOLE FAMILY WAS BUTCHERED, THAT'S JUST OK WITH YOU?! you must be a Nazi in training, you're one sick cookie

I found pycnogenol to be effective, it i s extracted from French pine bark and it hinders the release of histamine (chemical trigerring stuffiness and runny nose). You can buy it on Puritan's Pride website and on many others. Another good cure is Himalaya Guduchi, it's an Indian herb. I am taking both and I am allergy free, after years of suffering. Good luck to you!

yes ginger is great.....esp. for clearing the throat....but try freshly squeeze pear juice or asian pear juice (the large ones). That stopped my morning allergies for quite some time.
