Thank you all...but spay is for female dogs and yes she is old enough to be spayed. I could of had her done at 2 months by the way. The younger they are the cheaper after I typed the question. I called the emergancy vet hospital and they told me to keep an eye on it and its probably the adhesive glue that she licked. The stiches are internal. She will be fine and I need to buy an E-collar that I can purchase at any pet store this will keep her from licking it at all. Thank you for all your answers.

Not ''too young'' like someone else mentioned. Rescues & shelters spay/neuter as early as 9 weeks old. It's perfectly fine.
Anyways, if you are concerned, consult the vet. They'll tell you if it's worth a clinic visit or not.

Keep it clean, and keep her tongue away from it! If the tissue swells, becomes red, or starts to ooze serum, blood, or pus, take her to her vet asap to have it repaired. If it stays clean, dry, and unadulterated it will heal.
And yes, dogs and cats can be spayed at 3 months, the main risks for females is early incontinence and sometimes deficiencies in growth and muscle tone. Most clinics discourage spaying and neutering until a little older to avoid these problems, but they rarely turn into permanently damaging or fatal conditions.

The stitches are usually meant to be dissolving. If you can't see any blood or tissue that means the layer underneath is healed. It should be fine as long as she doesn't chew at it too much because you know a healing wound itches. And by the way, 3 mo is NOT too young to spay a dog as another answerer stated.

I would be on the safe side and have your vet check her. If there is no bleeding or oozing I would believe she will be okay. I have two female dogs and had both of them spayed, my lab tore out one of her stitches but it didn't bleed or anything and the vet said that she was alright.

if she leave it alone call the vet the next day and talk to them. the only reason that 3 months is a little early is that the bone development can continue to grow longer than normal in big dogs. so just make sure that she gets a very good quality dog food. do not give to much calcium.

Go to the drugstore and buy a can of Bag Balm and keep the incision covered with this ointment. It works wonders. It comes in a small green can.

Is she fussing with it? If not ,just keep it as clean as you can. It's too late to do any additional stitches. If she is messing with it a little bit it's probably because it's itchy because it's healing, just be careful that it stays clean,so keep it from getting infected.
