No, the ingredient in tooth paste that keep teeth free of cavity is fluoride. Tooth paste, even the whitening type, does not whiten the teeth chemically. So it wouldn't work. Try rinsing with ACT rinse before going to bed. It is a fluoride rinse that will strengthen your enamel and make the teeth more resistance to decay. As far as the whitening, try Aquaflesh OTC white trays. They look pretty promising.

It wouldn't do anything- the best thing to do would be to get them whitened by a dentist. But if that's not an option, something like crest whitening strips that you can wear at night would work just fine.

HELLO,

LEAVING A SMALL AMOUNT WILL HAVE NO EFFECT TOWARD KEEPING THE TEETH HEALTHY. IF YOU WANT THEM WHITENED THEN BUY SOME CREST WHITE STRIPS OR HAVE YOUR DENTIST DO THE JOB.
ps the white strips are cheaper.

My tube of toothpaste says...."if more than amount used for brushing is swallowed call poison control" or something like that. I wouldnt even want to take a chance on swallowing a small amount every night. Who knows what it could do to you over a period of time.
