Do you see the wind? No, but you can see what it does and can do. Just like you will probably never see your brain, yet again you know it is there..... the entire universe, from atoms to galaxies, is governed by definite physical laws. There are laws for governing heat, light, sound and gravity, for example. As physicist Stephen W. Hawking said: “The more we examine the universe, we find it is not arbitrary at all but obeys certain well-defined laws that operate in different areas. It seems very reasonable to suppose that there may be some unifying principles, so that all laws are part of some bigger law.
Rocket expert Wernher von Braun went a step further when he stated: “The natural laws of the universe are so precise that we have no difficulty building a spaceship to fly to the moon and can time the flight with the precision of a fraction of a second. These laws must have been set by somebody.Scientists who want a rocket to orbit the earth, or the moon, must work in harmony with such universal laws if they are to be successful.
When we think of laws, we acknowledge that they came from a lawmaking entity. A traffic sign that says “Stop” certainly has behind it some person or group of persons who originated the law. What, then, about the comprehensive laws that govern the material universe? Such brilliantly conceived laws surely bear witness to a supremely intelligent lawmaker. The more you know about God's designs the more real he will be... I have more if you want to hear it.....

I was a Catholic, I am not anymore, I still believe but I will not read the Catholic version of the Bible, why? Well , because they have changed the content and the words, omit-ed some and included others, the Bible is not a book to edit as you please, it clearly says so.

The other main reason is because of purgatory, one day the Pope decided that people could go to purgatory and we can pray for their entry into paradise, I don't remember God ever saying that in the Bible ...........

It seems that the new pope has stated that there is now no longer a purgatory. Playing God a little bit aren't they?

I am a Christian and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ who wishes you much luck and the company of the holy spirit on your journey. Everyone is born knowing the truth.

God bless.

John the Baptist was Jesus' cousin. He preached about the coming Messiah. He humbly baptized Jesus. He was so outspoken about repentance that he was thrown in jail. And after ALL that, he had doubts, and asked Jesus was it all true? Jesus told him to believe because of the works He had done. Jesus also told those around Him that (despite his doubts) John was the greatest man who ever lived! He understood and didn't criticize his doubts - He answered them.

When I doubt, and I admit I do, I "go back to the basics". I see the amazing, beautiful, complex world, and believe that it must be made by a great God. I see the changes God has made in others. Every good and perfect gift comes from God. When the ugliness in the world makes me wonder, I remind myself that Jesus died to cure that, but people have to want it. And I try to remember times when God did move me - and when the "feelings" were there.

And you can always just ask. "God, please remind me of your presence. I need your assurance". He knows the difference between a hard heart asking for a sign (because they really don't believe anyway) and a humble heart (like John's) that just needs His assurance.

The Bible say's who so believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, this is a principle, so even if you don't feel or see GOD, you must believe. Once you believe first, and then expect a signs and wonders, once a person follows the first princlpe of belief then your faith becomes activated, this will take you to faith to faith, it may be small, or it may be large ,or could be right now in your face, but GOD knows how to get you. I know you might not want to hear this, but let go of the priest and turn your soul over to Jesus, he is our high priest, and he has made the ultimate sacrafice, pray to GOD in the name of Jesus, see this goes back to belief again, activate your faith if you wanted a brand new car, you would say GOD please let me have that car in a prayer, then maybe you will get the car. The same is with your faith, believe first this activates your faith. If your bills needed to be paid, you would ask GOD to help you find a job, and if that didn't come thru, you would depend on GOD, so what I am saying is build a relationship with him by activateing your faith in belief.

Believing in God is something that you just have to believe b/c you know it is the right thing...not because you have seen God. It is hard, but we are here on earth for God to judge our character, so that is what he is judging....whether or not we can believe in him even though we can't see him. The Bible is DEFINITELY proof enough that there is a God!

Well.. look around you. Do you really think that all this (the sky, the trees, the ocean) all of it just happened? By a freak accident?
There has to be a God. It truly is the only thing that makes any sense.

Read the Bible. Start in the New Testament. I suggest reading Matthew first and working your way through Revelation before starting the Old Testament.

Start searching scriptures to know who God is.(Psalms is a great place to start, yes the whole book) Start praying to God the Father thru Jesus Christ His Son, ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. Start Praising His name! Keep knocking, keep seeking. God knows your heart, listen for His. He loves you very much. "Be still & know that I am God!" May you have Faith & it abound all the more!

You have to have FAITH.

Just BELIEVE that God is Who He says He is.
And that He will do as He says He will do.
Faith is believing in what you do NOT see.

God is EVERYthing!

He can be YOUR everything!
