Er, huh?
Could we get that again, in either English or Portuguese?

If the body dies and decay where do you think it is closer to? To God or to the ground? Your soul is the breath of life which is God. The soul is you that just took in a flesh to make all what is in your thoughts to materialize. It is not only closest to God, it is God in you.
And since you do not believe that there is God, I know this is useless for you. Honestly, I am just interested in the points I am getting even if I know I am wasting my time on people like you.

How do you mean? Are you going on the assumption that god created all, including man in his own image, and all is supposedly a part of god? In that case, yes it would make sense that the living body would be closer to god. But if you take the fdeistic approach that god created all, then retreated to the spiritual realm, then I guess the only way to be closer would to acyually be in spirit.

Could be either way - or both!

We are living bodies (nephesh)now and will be immortal ones in the Resurrection. God is eternal spirit and not a physical being. Jesus is God incarnate, tha t is, He has a true human nature including physicality and His body/flesh is truly risen.

What is a "spirit"?? Our "living bodies" were creted by evolution, which is god's creative workshop. How do you define "close"? We are either what god designed us to be or we are not. Do you consider god to be a success? If you do, then we are exactly what god designed us to be, and we are doing exactly what god intended us to do. Religion is simply an undesirable byproduct of us doing what we were created to do, create new knowledge. We created religions as a means to control people for profits, a byproduct of our ability to create new knowledge. Learn more at: http://www.angeloftruth.com

We will overcome this mistake.

our "living bodies" are like clothing the spirit wears to interact with the clothing other spirits wear. sooner or later we don't so much die as out grow clothing we no longer need....take it from someone who has had a lot of time and reason to consider these matters....
