I believe that God is the antithesis of evil.
He cries with us and laughs with us because he loves as a father must. In Him there is no darkness at all.

God is not evil, he helps u when u turn to him, and as ur parents punish u for doing stuff u know is bad, so is God he is like a father. But if God was evil man would not hav existed in the first place so he is kind to let man Exist even in Man's seen.

God is wonderful, the most beautiful, the most powerful, the most merciful, the most wealthy, the most renounced, the most opulent. God's front side is as beautiful as His backside. We all come from Him and depending on our ignorant desires, we choose to see or not see God. We look through immperfect senses and sometimes we may have a perverted perception of God. Like looking at the sun through Shady colored glass and believing the sun is different than what is a fact.
God is not evil, but some perceptions may be.

No God is not evil. He lets us do as we like, think as we like, not believe in Him, even think He is evil, but He has nothing to do with this world and it's evilness. He has His own abode of pure love where He resides with His loving associates eternally. He does come again and again, to relieve the world of oppression from evil persons who torment others.. when the burden of the earth is too great then he intervenes. (but sorry- according to scripture we're not due for a Godly intervention for a loooong time)
I am not sure about this christian god and all the quotes of horrendous murder they portray, but one thing killing bodies is nothing- it's just the matter that covers the eternal soul. So if killing your body will keep you from continuing in sin, then maybe it's good eh?

God is the yardstick by which evil is measured. Anything God is good. Anything against God is Evil. These are commonly held beliefs. So, if God tells you to throw acid on little babies and you do not comply you are Evil.

The Bible says that "God is love". In fact it's because of that He gave His Son up to die for the sins of the world, and raised Him back from the grave.
People wonder how God can be good when there is sin in the world. It's like asking why anyone could have a bad haircut when there are barbers and beauticians? Someone has to want to get their hair cut, and go to the barber. Until everyone in the world goes to God and repents and lets Him change them, there will be evil in the world.

No, I don't think god exists at all. The people who do believe in it will never say god is evil--they will tell you it is "love."
