can anyone tell me a excersise plan to lose 10 pounds in 2-3 weeks ... im 15 i weigh 153.. so about 5 pounds a week . i was thinking of running a mile a day its like 90 degrees down here in austin i dont know what i should do

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

5 pounds a week is a dangerous level and should not be attempted. But if you want to lose some fat probably just running 1 mile a day wouldn't burn enough calories.
Start with solid eating habbits, with 5 small meals/snacks throughout the day. Fruits, Veggies, Almonds, Fish, Chicken, Hard Boiled Eggs, Lean Meats. That will speed up your metabolism.
Drinks lots of water. Always be drinking water, try for 3 liters a day. You'll have to pee a lot after around 2 pm, but it is good for you.
Try to exercise in the morning, maybe 15 minutes first thing to also get your metabolism going, like running a mile or doing jump-rope. Then do a normal workout in the evening, after school. You can do a full body circuit-training work-out if you have a gym, or do some cycles of running, then push-ups and sit-ups, then running again.
Womensfitness.com has some great articles on the subject. I'd also check out Crossfit.com, which may be a little intense but is one of the best resources for health and fitness information.
