Between 1500-1800 calories. It takes an extra 1000 calories to gain weight, so to lose you will need to cut your caloric intake by 500-1000 a day. However, DON'T skip meals, it is still imporatant to get your proper nutrition while on your diet. I wish you the best.

Well, it varies from person to person. Search google for BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate). They are calculators that measure how many calories your body needs to consume on a daily basis depending on gender, age, height, and weight. After you find out how many calories your body needs, cut that by about 500-600 calories. For instance, when I started working out, I was 18 years old, 6 ft, 194 pounds and I needed 2054 calories per day. I cut it down to about 1500 calories plus calories I've burned from exercise, I've lost 10 pounds already! Good Luck.

Well I would think if you're a man each meal should be 200 to 250, woman 100 to 150. That's if you have 3 square meals a day and a 200 cal. dessert. Depending on your matabolism, you should probably consume more calories, but at different intervals if you have a high one(i.e cereal, carrots, sandwich, carrots, cheese, fruit dinner, dessert.) If yours is slower eat more meals and less calories. Just remember to drink loads of water as it will deff. help clean out your system, hydrate you, and it WILL help you lose weight.

That relies upon on your weight, properly, and what number energy you frequently devour in an afternoon. I advise you write down for a week what you devour. and also verify your weight on the starting up and the properly of that week to work out if it effortless maintained on an same weight. Then see round what number energy you took in and cut back from there. I had to loose 10 lbs in a month on a chance, and that i'm 5'7'' and become one hundred forty lbs. I had to diminish my calorie intake to 1250 an afternoon to nevertheless loose and exercising 5 days a week, the position I burned round 500 energy an afternoon contained in the gymnasium.

Well, it is hard considering I don't know if you are male or female....
Aim to eat less calories then what you burn per day = weightloss
Try 1,500 calories per day and make sure you do a cardio workout each day too.

Good ways to cut calories are no butter/margarine, no sauces or dressings, eat healthy cereal instead of toast, snakc on low fat yogurt (check calories on pack to find lowest one) unsalted nuts (no more then a handful) dried fruits and fresh fruit (no more then 2 serves of fruit per day)

The main thing is to cut down on the serving size, make sure for dinner you have no more then 150 grams of grilled chicken breast, steak, fish with steamed veggies or salad.

Drink lots of water.

Good luck!

well the daily amout is around 2500 calories a day....for a woman.....so if you cut it to around 1800 to 2000 a day that would be a good amount.

the absolute minimum caloric intake is based on "your" BMR. depending on how active you are daily determines how much you need to increase the caloric intake on top of the BMR
