If someone you have been seeing for about 7 months, has lied to you twice, and you have found out and confronted them, tells you they're sorry again, and they'll make it up to you... do you trust them? do you give them one more chance?

No, 2 lies in 7 months is too many. Move on while you can.

Let me put it this way. Ive been there in the same situation that youve been in. And my boyfriend would promise me and cry his eyes out telling me he was sorry and that he was going to change. And I would believe him and take him back and then the next thing it was a lie about something else. ANd then here came the tears and the promises that he loved me and wanted to marry me and he had problems. but next time he said it would be different. So, then all of a sudden he was living with me, I was paying all the bills, and i was slowly getting dragged under the ground because of him. And I didn't even realize it. And wouldn't you know...this time he stole some things from me. And had lied again. Now Im done and Ive been hurt, all for what? The thing is I could have avoided all this heartache and grief if I had only said no to taking him back the first time he lied. Life is too short to waste it on someone that you are going to have to worry about all the time. You need someone that you can trust and be happy with. I had to learn the very hard and difficult way. So, just remember once is too much. Someone that will lie no matter how many times they are caught aren't worth second chances.

One chance enough. What has this person lied about? I hate when someone lies then they do it again. I have trust issues because of that. They do the deed then they think they can buy u stuff so u won't bug them about it or they take u out to dinner so u won't bring it up again. Get out while u can, more lies are coming ur way

Depends on what they lied about and why. It's your choice to forgive or not, somethings can be and some can't. Like I said, it depends...

Give them one more chance...people don't need to be given up on when they've given up on themselves.
