yes its very possible...which is why you should be the best person you can be even though he isn't there to reward us...which we don't need rewards...we should do it out of the kindness of our hearts not for rewards from god...that what this religion is all about...

YES JESUS CHRIST HAS RETURNED I can see him with my eyes of faith. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIS RETURN & HIS MANIFESTION let me refute some of the statements made in the other answers.
1. the antichrist has been here since the 1st century, he is known as apostate christendom (1 John 2:18) . . .Young children, it is the last hour, and, just as YOU have heard that antichrist is coming, even now there have come to be many antichrists; from which fact we gain the knowledge that it is the last hour. . .
........the fact is that all REAL CHRISTIANS can see his works, when he first returned he had things to do...........
(Matthew 25:31-33) 31Â “When the Son of man arrives in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit down on his glorious throne. 32Â And all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33Â And he will put the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left.........this has been happening since his return, .......;another thing that he will cause to happen is..........
(Matthew 24:14) . . .And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.........now this is being done on a world wide scale, & is effect about finished.........
then his manifestation (2 Thessalonians 1:6-9) . . .This takes into account that it is righteous on God’s part to repay tribulation to those who make tribulation for YOU, 7 but, to YOU who suffer tribulation, relief along with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels 8 in a flaming fire, as he brings vengeance upon those who do not know God and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus. 9 These very ones will undergo the judicial punishment of everlasting destruction from before the Lord and from the glory of his strength. . ........
..you see his presence began 2520 yrs from the removal of the crown from Israel..in 607 BCE which would be in the autumn of 1914.........(Ezekiel 21:25-27) . . .“And as for you, O deadly wounded, wicked chieftain of Israel, whose day has come in the time of the error of [the] end, 26 this is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said, ‘Remove the turban, and lift off the crown. This will not be the same. Put on high even what is low, and bring low even the high one. 27 A ruin, a ruin, a ruin I shall make it. As for this also, it will certainly become no [one’s] until he comes who has the legal right, and I must give [it] to him.’
Israel never had another king until the one who had the legal right came that being the son of David, Jesus Christ

No, because there would be no doubt in our minds if Christ has returned. There would be a one world religion run by an antichrist and the mark of the beast would be offered and mandatory. Also we true born again Bible believing Christians would not be here and there would be no children around, as we would all be ruptured. Also everyone who is a non believer would hear all over the news that millions have disappeared and children and babies would disappear from their non believing parents. The world would be in a major catastrophe.

no Christ hasn't returned YET. I watched this history channel thing about an interpretation of the revelation. There's going to be this huge battle between good and evil (God and His angels, and Satan and his uhh i dunno, minions) in this battle place i think what they call Armageddon from the Hebrow word Har Megido meaning Hill of Megiddo in Israel. And Christ will lead the good side on His horse. I guess thats when he'll return. Of course, God will truimph. And then it says that there will be a hundred years of peace, there will be no more death. All those souls in purgatory will join God in heaven and Satan will be bound a thousand years.

No, when Jesus comes back the world will know it. The last time King Jesus left this earth, the graves opened and the people in the graves came out an walked around visiting family. It got dark as night in the noon day. The next time it will be worse.

When He comes back, all of humanity will know it.
Even these silly children who think they don't believe in Him now, will kneel before Him and proclaim that He is God.
EDIT:
Left Behind? Good grief, put down the fiction, and pick up the acutal Bible.

When Christ returns that will be it. There won't be anything left. Never mind you people are too far gone in this Dispensationalism, Left Behind mess. There is little hope of teaching the majority of Christians the truth.

Matthew 24:30
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Anything's possible. However, if it is Jesus you're looking for, he never existed so it would be extremely difficult for him to return, having never been here in the first place.
Christ=Krishna=Buddha=Dionysius=Osiris=any number of gods and ideas about gods swirling around in ancient times. All the myths have coalesced into the Jesus story, and the efficiency of Roman communications has ensured its survival to this day.
So, if the only way you won't waste time waiting for Christ to come is if you assume he's already been, then by all means do so.

not by Biblical standards. By Biblical standards, Revalations mostly, you see that Jesus Christ will descend from the clouds in an angelic form which will be seen all across the globe at once. whether it's God letting everyone see it, or whether everyone is terrified and watching CNN, I don't know. all I know is that He aint coming back like a normal human. or as Mr. Niceguy...

The intellectual person will view and ask the question as such yet, Jesus did say that the purpose of his return or coming again was to receive that person home to himself.
