24. The diagonals split the rhombus into four right triangles, each with base 4 and height 3. 1/2 base*height = 6. 6(area) *4 triangles = 24.
What's this question doing in R&S?

cut into two triangles of 3*8/2 or 6*4 /2 which gives an area of 24
Edit explanation:
divide it into two, the line used to divide it becomes the base. the other diagonal(the one divided becomes the height) now use a=b*h/2 and multiply it by two since there are two equal triangles. therefore it becomes a= b*h or a=D*d where the d's are the diagonals.

Shouldn't you be asking your math teacher this question? (You might also want to get some extra help from your English teacher - it's spelled diagonal. Notice the little red line under the words when you spell them wrong???)
Yep - Here it is folks, the future of the American educational system on Y!A. Anyone else weeping for the future?

Did you know you were in the religion section when you asked a question that requires us to have a scientific calculator to figure out?
Now that is faith.
