What I do find annoying is when "some" atheists ask such gems as "Why do Christians believe in fairy tales?" or "Why do atheists have consistently higher IQs then Christians?" or "Is it true that atheists have a better sense of humor than Christians?" or, today's gem, "Since atheists behave naturally, while Christians behave because they are threatened, aren't atheists better people?"
These are not word for word, but I think you get the idea. If you have an honest question, ask it. Don't simply frame your insult as a question, then go away thinking you've accomplished something grand.
If you really waant to accomplish something, try understanding the other person's pov, for a change. You don't have to agree with them, but you might acutally learn something you don't already know.
I am a Christian, but I can admit frankly that I have learned alot from atheists. I don't agree with them, obviously, but that doesn't mean that I don't understand why they have a problem believing as I do.
I'm sure there is a Bible quote I could post here, but I'm too lazy to look it up for you. It's been a long day.
You'll have to settle for me just saying how much I love Jesus...
and how much Jesus loves you.
God bless you!

i am christian and i couldnt quote the bible for my life. why are you bothered with it though? that bble gives them and you indirectly you morals and standards for right and wrong. who cares if they quote it? maybe they cannot go any deeper inthinking but that is O.K because they are just following a book which keeps them good people. maybe it is anoying because(i dont knwo if you are an aetheist but if you are this applies) you do not like being countered by an actual book. or maybe you dont liek how they can only just quote and cannot think for themselves. but not everyone can or wed be in trouble. if everyone just thought for themselves then we would all be careless and people would die more from careless events.

The real joy is when a long testimony backed up by half of Romans is posted with no question, and then their next question is asking why everyone was 'bashing' their last question.

no you are not.... when seeking knowledge of actual opinion of majority of christians it seems that they wont answer with there own thoughts or words.. i like those who dont have to reference every quote in the bible to answer a question.

I think they are inviting commentary on thier post. I would take it as a statement intended for interpretation. They want to hear what you think.
