My bf wants to lose weight. Rather than exercising daily or making better food choices, he simple eats too few calories. I suggested that we exercise more and make better choices. Nothing too drastic. He agrees, but then he makes little effort to do it. When I cook healthy foods (baked chicken vs. fried chicken or fruit vs french fries) he eats it. At restaurants he drinks/eat high calorie/fat/sugary drinks/foods. He awon't turn down "bad" food when family cooks it for him. Why doesn't he make an effort to learn what's more healthy? (Read a book, take a class, and etc). Why can't he say no ? Why am I the one to suggest that we go for a bike ride or walk?

Why won't he change? Is it because he's only doing for me? He claims he wants to change. He eats healthy foods when I cook it. He doesn't do it on his own. He doesn't make an effort to learn what's healthy. What can I do to encourage him but not nag? How can I make him do for himself and not for me?

it's quite simple.

change takes effort, keeping bad habits does not. people are inherently lazy by nature.

Hi,

I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at
http://www.ezunderstand.info where they have a free trial and you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling.
Good luck!

He seems to not have a strong inner will, he needs to fasten up and be a man about it. You can't change people, but you can sure as hell nudge them the right way.

well if he starts doing it for you... he is still doing it, just keep it up after awhile he will decide he likes it maybe
