This is why all students should go to Catholic schools. This question would be so much hotter if your English teacher was a hot young nun instead of dorky Mr. Stockton.

I hate to tell you this, but your teacher is playing a game with you. You are only 16. He knows he can't have a relationship with a 16 year-old kid. That would be illegal. He would be labeled as a pedophile and sent to prison. He probably thinks you are cute, and I'm sure he likes you, but he doesn't like you that way. You are not his girlfriend. You can't be his girlfriend until you become 18. He sounds a lot older than you. You would not want to marry someone 15 to 20 years older than yourself. Can imagine what it would be like? You will be 40 years old someday, and he will be almost 60 years old. You will end up with grandpa. You don't want that to happen. I had crushes on some of my teachers too, but I never once thought about marrying one of them someday. That's ridiculous.

This sounds like a really difficult situation, and the fact that he's playing along with it makes it even worse for you! You should try to get over him A.S.A.P! Even though the whole idea of you with your teacher may seem appealing, the point is that it's a crush. It's only infatuation and believe me, end it while you can and keep a good reputation! It's fun and healthy to have fantasies, but turning them into reality can be dangerous and wierd.

He should not even be thinking about "playing along with it". You are his minor student and he has no business trying to gain your attention and interest in anything other than school work. Get over the teacher and stick with boys your own age because this can lead to major problems for you and him.

If you think he is being too friendly, go straight to an administrator or a trusted adult before this gets out of hand and you get hurt. If you may be imagining it, just wait the school year out and fall in love with some other boy your age!!!

If you want him to lose his job, keep it up and maybe he'll do something stupid. Older men suffer from a "I'm not attractive anymore" syndrome and a young ladys attention is all they need to sooth their ego. However it can go too far. I suggest you forget about this crush and find a boy your own age,...or perhaps, a senior! he he

time for a reality check for both of you. I'm sure you like having a good reputation...and he likes having a job. Come back down to reality and separate yourself and your thoughts from him before anything else happens. Watch Mr. Hollands Opus.

Run away, my dear. If he is not responsible enough to walk away, then you must do it. It will save your heart and his life and career.
It sounds like a fantasy, but you will be left with nothing but heartache if it continues. If he is playing into this, he is acting in a very irresponsible way, as someone in authority over you.
