I encourage you to research on Rotaract Clubs.

In yahoo search or your favourite searching website, write rotaract and the name of your city, or nearest city. I am sure you will find what you are looking for.

The global site for Rotaract is in the sources.

As Marcos said, Rotaract would be an ideal organization for you to look into, as they are for 18 to 30 year olds.

Rotaract Clubs have 4 main areas of focus:

- Community service
- International service (overseas aid, as well as learning about other cultures and promoting international friendship & peace)
- Social events, which can include outdoor activities, depending on the interests of the other members of the club you choose to join
- Professional & leadership development

Many Rotaract Clubs in the USA are college-based, but there are community-based ones too. I'm in Australia, and most of the Rotaract clubs here are community-based, which I prefer as it gives you access to a wider variety of people.

YES!

Alpha Phi Omega (of which I was a member) is a co-ed, international fraternity that was based on the Boy Scouts and their principles. They have community service requirements for all members.
Frank Reed Horton founded APO in Easton, PA and since then it has spread to colleges and university all over the country, to include several chapters overseas. I'd encourage you to contact your local branch, just do a search for Alpha Phi Omega online and then look for your nearest chapter.

Not sure where you are from, but Air cadets , Sea cadets or Army Cadets is awesome and opens up new levels of self confidence, structure and new source of friends.
Both my young adult children are in Air Cadets.
