Hecate has always connected with me, ever since i discovered wiccan something about her just kinda sticks. i figure if i feel that close to a goddess then its probally a good thing. Ive kinda made it one of my favorite goddess's to seek more knowledge about. i feel at ease with her no matter what im doin.. is that weird? lol i never really thought about it, its just kinda been there.

Delightful question! I have created a big sacred space out of my backyard, and there is a Triple Goddess painted on a piece of concrete in the middle, so I have her right there to start my circle. I have a bust of Kwan Yin in the East altar, and I look to her when I need to feel softness, compassion, wisdom and inspiration. There is a fire pit in the South altar, and when I have a fire there, I breathe in the air and sing to Kali Ma, my favorite power Goddess. I look to her for transformation and energy, and burning away the old emotional baggage. (I bought a new hybrid Camry and named it after her, and she is very protective of my personal body when I drive her). In the West I have a cauldron, and I don't have any particular Goddess I feel for the West yet. Still looking. In the North I have built a miniature mountain range with some boulders and I generally feel Gaia, Mother Earth, when I look to the North for strength.
It is a wonderful magic place, in the center of some big old oak trees. Thanks for a great question!
Bright blessings!

I am a soft polytheist, so I often honor the Goddess and the God simply as the Lady and the Lord, or as the Great Mother and the Horned One.
Some specific aspects of Them that I often work with are Brigid (creativity), Isis (healing), Bast (animal protection), Herne (fertility), and Apollo (healing). I also sometimes work with the Morrigan -- but VERY carefully.

Merry Meet, I usually Invoke Brigid (A Triple Goddess), and always invoke Luna and Selene, Goddesses of the Moon, and welcome them into my circle. Why do you invoke the Crone Hecate? Just wondering- From a fellow Wiccan, Blessed be, Icefire

I typically stick with Glorious Goddess and Gracious God. I have been known to call upon Bridgid, and some Norse deities.

I don't *use* the gods. I have a relationship with Apollo and Athena most days.
And I most assuredly am not a monotheist, believing all gods are one. If I was I'd not bother giving them any name and just call them hey you.

It depends on what I'm doing.
I've been known to call on the Morrighan, Epona, Aine, Isis, Inanna.. It just depends.
Sometimes I even call on Spirit and leave it at that.
