Yes, it IS possible, and possible to do it in a healthy manner.

1 lb of fat is 3600 calories. You'll need to burn 3600 more calories in 1 day than you intake in order to loose a pound of fat a day. In order to do that, you'll need to eat lots of protein and a moderate amount of fats and carbs (your brain needs fats in order to work properly). You'll have to intake food at regular intervals throughout the day and exercise almost constantly (such as hiking along moderately-tough trails all day long).

Be aware, though, that as you exercise and take in calories, that you'll likely create muscle unless you take in too few calories, in which case you'll be breaking down muscle, which isn't good. As you build muscles, your wieght will increase. As you add more muscle mass you burn more calories.

Start off with an exercise routine that adds muscle mass and burns calories (you'll need to sork out with wieghts and do aerobic exercises). Continue doing this until your muscle mass is burning 1000 calories a day and then you'll be able to easily exercise to burn an additional 2600 calories.

Lose 1 Pound A Day

Water weight is only a temporarily fluctuation caused by being mildly dehydrated. It's not permanent weight loss, nor can you just keep doing it day after day. What you have planned to eat is pretty reasonable, but add more vegetables. You're supposed to be getting 5-10 servings of fruits and veggies every day, and this is especially important when trying to slim down. Burning 1000 calories at the gym however isn't very realistic, especially if you're not an avid athlete already. Jogging for an hour burns around 600 calories, can you really do that for about 2 hours? Find a reasonable level of physical activity that you can add to your daily (or near daily) life that you can sustain for the rest of your life. If you want a permanent change to your weight, you need to make permanent changes to your diet and physical activity, so find something you can really stick to. 1-2lbs per week is the healthy rate. If you're currently eating a lot of processed foods you may currently be retaining too much water and changing to a healthier diet will help you lose some extra water that you'd been carrying around, but you can't expect 7lbs in 10 days.

Hi,

I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at
http://www.getgoinfo.info where they have a free trial and you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling.
Good luck!

to burn 1 pound a day is impossible

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.

1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.

2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.

3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.

These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

How many pounds are you trying to lose? If you are looking to shed 5 or 10 lbs you may be able to pull it off temporarily by shedding water weight.

If you're looking for a long term solution, a pound or two a week is much healthier and will have better long term results.

Also, if you lose too much weight too quickly your skin may be too loose.

First get some paper money from England, one pound notes.
Each day, burn one note and you will have burned a pound a day.

Otherwise, for losing weight, the maximum you should lose is about half a pound a day, maximum is about 15 pounds a month and healthier to be less.

Yea, if you had a treadmill desk and walked for about 7 hours while working at your computer you would lose a pound a day...now if that's healthy is a whole other topic.

Yes. Cut out carbs, salt and saturated fats for one week. Drink tons of water. Eat a small amount of healthy food every three hours while awake. Exercise 30 minutes every morning before eating. You will lose five pounds or more in one week.

No, not even if you ate absolutely nothing and never stopped moving from the time you got up until the time you went to bed. Then your body would be in starvation mode and start storing all its fat to protect itself. Your metabolism would be at a crawl and it would take even longer to lose weight. Then you'd die slowly until your heart and kidneys shut down. It would be nice, though, if we could lose 1 lb a day. Then maybe we wouldn't have so many fatties bouncing around America!
